How we handle what you send us

This page is about the quote request form on this website. Mega Construction Ltd of Warsaw, Ontario is responsible for the information you send through it.

What we collect

Only what you type into the form, and the photos you choose to attach: your name, your phone number or email address, your town, the kind of work you want done, roughly when, and your description of the job. Nothing else. There is no analytics on this website, no advertising pixel and no session recording.

What we use it for

To call or write back about your project, and to prepare a quote. That is the only use. We do not sell it, we do not rent it, and we do not send you marketing you did not ask for.

Who else handles it

Our bookkeeper, Brian Business, runs this website and the system the request lands in, so they can see it. Four companies handle it on our behalf:

• Vercel serves this page and carries your submission on its way to us.
• Cloudflare runs the check that tells a person from an automated script. It sees your network address and your browser while it decides, and nothing you typed.
• Supabase stores the request and any photos, on Amazon Web Services infrastructure in the United States (region us-east-1).
• Resend sends the email that tells us a request has come in, which includes what you wrote.

Because your request is stored in the United States, it is subject to the laws there, including lawful access by United States authorities. If that changes we will say so here and date the change.

Your network address

We do not keep it. The system turns it into a one-way code so it can tell two requests apart and stop a machine sending hundreds; the address itself is never written down.

How long we keep it

A quote request is kept as part of our records of the work, whether or not the job went ahead. If you want yours deleted, ask us and we will delete it.

Your rights

Under Canadian privacy law you can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, and ask us to delete it. Call (705) 761-0381 or write to us and we will deal with it.
